Dear Gee, Thanks for getting back to me, and for your advice on this problem. In the meantime, I asked a young computer-savvy friend of mine for his help, and he figured out a work-around which involved deleting an Outlook add-in, and now my iCloud calendar seems to sync perfectly with Outlook 2010! Don’t ask me how he did the rest of it but the result is what I hoped for. I prefer using Outlook, but I will explore the native app as well. At first blush it doesn’t seem to offer all the functionality of Outlook.
Peace, Tim.
